PREGNANCY / ADVICE FOR ORAL HYGIENE DURING PREGNANCY:

The VSmile Piraeus dentist advises ladies to follow the guidelines below during pregnancy:

  • Clean teeth well twice a day with a toothpaste containing floride - but avoid swallowing any paste
  • brush your tongue twice a day when you brush your teeth
  • Use dental floss or an alternative type of interdental cleaning once per day
  • Make regular visits to the dentist for check-ups and cleaning
  • Eat a balanced diet
  • Quit smoking
  • Wash your mouth out with water any time you vomit

NOTE!: Any oral hygiene products you buy must be approved by the health authorities.
